The DSI provided a total increase in operating funds provided from budget 2005 to budget 2014 of $4.3477 billion (GST exclusive).
The incremental additional funding provided each year by the DSI was $86.3 million in 2005/6, $72.8 million in 2006/7 $58.0 million in 2007/8, $69.1 million in 2008/9, $85.7 million in 2009/10, $108.1 million in 2010/11, $66.9 million in 2011/2, $14.2 million in 2012/3, $58.6 million in 2013/14, and no increase in 2014/15.
The increase in the baseline provided in the 2005/6 budget increases from $86.3 million to $136.5 million by 2014/15, reflecting the increasing costs of approved projects such as the Protector Fleet.
The total increase from the baseline of the 2004 budget is $86.3 million in 2005/6, $170.9 million in 2006/7, $258.0 million in 2007/8, $334.8 million in 2008/9, $420.6 million in 2009/10, $529.2 million in 2010/1, $610.8 million in 2011/2, $669.3 million in 2012/3, and the same amount in 2013/4.
