Illustrates the concept of manoeuvre as a series of three concentric ovals. The inner-most oval containing the ‘manoeuvre group' which is surrounded by the ‘protective envelope' which is 1 to 2 km wide. The outer oval contains the ‘information envelope' which is 20 to 40 km wide.
