Intermediate Outcome 1: Secure New Zealand

The New Zealand Defence Force Intermediate Outcome one is a “Secure New Zealand” which has three parts, “protected from terrorists”; “protected from trans-national illegal activities”; “protected persons and infrastructure from civil instability and disasters”. The Ministry contributes through all its outputs; in particular, the Ministry acquires major items of equipment contributing to military capability.
