Defence Policy Review: Future Force Design Principles 2023
The Future Force Design Principles (FFDP) identifies the requirements of the future Defence Force to respond to the strategic environment and approach set out in the Defence Policy and Strategy Statement 2023.
It sets out the broad parameters for making capability decisions for the next 15 years and reflects the need for continued investment to stabilise and grow the Defence Force.
Eleven principles and four assumptions have been identified to guide future force design and capability requirements that will help Defence to address future challenges.
